The Monarchy, Canada and the Comomwealth online training course explores the the Monarchy as well as the Commonwealth. Users will learn about Canada's role with the Monarchy and changes along with it.
Module 1
What is a Monarchy?
This course is an introduction to the monarchy, as a system of government. Both absolute and constitutional monarchies will be discussed. Users will learn about examples of constitutional monarchies, and about Queen Elizabeth II.
Module 2
Canada and the Commonwealth
This course is an introduction to the Commonwealth and Canada’s role in it. Users will learn about some changes that occur when a new monarch inherits the throne.
